Refreshing Smoothies

Refreshing and healthy smoothies to start off your spring season!  

Blending is fast, filling, and allows you to easily consume super foods which makes it far easier to deliver boatloads of nutrients to your body.  It's extremely beneficial too.  

Drinking one of these smoothies a day can help with fatigue, insomnia, acne, depression, anxiety, and other health related conditions while promoting weight loss!  Here are a few recipes to get you started.

Viola Sororia Smoothie



1 1/2 Cups Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Cup Blueberries
1/2 Cup Stawberries
1 Whole Banana
1/2 Cup Vanilla Yogurt
1 Cup of Spinach
1/2 Teaspoon of Chia Seeds

*Chia Seeds are optional or could be substituted for flaxseed.  These seeds add benefits delivering a massive amount of nutrients.  

DIRECTIONS:  Put all ingredients inside a blender.  Blend until it's a smooth consistency.  Pour into two large glasses.  Garnish.  Serve.

EXTRA TIP:  Freeze your fruit ahead of time or add a 1/2 a Cup of ice cubes to chill your smoothie and give it a thicker consistency.  If it's too thick add a little extra Vanilla Almond Milk.

Hyacinth Smoothie



1 1/2 Cups Vanilla Almond Milk
1 Whole Orange (Peeled)
1/2 Cup Pineapple
1/2 Cup Mango
1/2 Cup Vanilla Yogurt
1 Cup Teaspoon of Flaxseeds

*You can substitute the Mango for Peaches or Tangerines.  Don't have Vanilla Almond Milk?  You can just use water or water with a splash of coconut water to give it a more tropical taste.

DIRECTIONS:  Put all ingredients inside a blender.  Blend until it's a smooth consistency.  Pour into two large glasses.  Garnish.  Serve.

EXTRA TIP:  Perfectly suited for breakfast as the sun goes up to get your day started these smoothies are affordable and easy to create.  With so many variations and recipes it can get overwhelming for a beginner.  We suggest that you keep the colors together such as  fruits and vegetable that are all in the orange color group show in the Hyacinth Smoothie above. 

*Hyacinth is a flower that blooms in mid-spring.
